Using Excel Template, "Date" field Shows "01/00/1900"

Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
When Excel file (.xls) is used as the template for Excel report, "date" field is shown as "01/00/1900"
Some of the original values are 01/01/2018 and 06/30/2018.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
They should be shown as 01/01/2018 and 06/30/2018, respectively.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Prepare xml file with the date value in the above format.
2. Create Excel template and map the field.
3. Create Excel report.
4. Date field shows "01/00/1900"
