Symptoms


When trying to apply for an absence the following error occurs:

APP-PAY-33208: ORA-6508 occurred at line 168 of formula BG_ABSENCE_DURATION



STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Go to Super HRMS Manager Responsibility : People > Enter and Maintain

2. Pull up the employee > Go to Others > Absence

3. Enter absence details >
  Absence Type: Vacation Leave, Start Date: 08-Apr-2019 and End Date: 09-Apr-2019

4. After Tabbing out , error pops up
