Clicking on the Mass Update Button on the Service Contracts Authoring Form Locks the Contract when Using a Custom Menu (Doc ID 2535850.1)

Symptoms

When a user clicks on the Mass Update button on the Service Contracts authoring form, the contract gets locked and throws the following error.

Error
You cannot Update the contract XXXX as it's locked for Mass update.

Steps
1. Open a Service Contract in Entered status.
2. Click on the Mass Update button.
3. Get the indicated error and the contracts gets locked and no updates are allowed.
