APP-PO-14160 While Trying to Finally Close the PO With Small Currency Conversion Rate And Amount To Reverse Small (Doc ID 2535997.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Accounting related

While attempting to finally close a PO,when amount to reverse is small and currency conversion rate is also small, the following error appears.

ERROR

APP-PO-14160: Document action not completed successfully
Cause: You attempted to perform a document action that is incompatible

In FND debug, the following error is captured:

XLA_AP_DIFFERENT_SIGN_AMOUNTS

The accounted amount and entered amount for the subledger jounral entry line have different sign.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE ISSUE

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Scenario 1
----------------
1. created PO #3055 with 1 shipment
    - trx currency = 'AUD', conversion rate = 0.00176093 , qty = 7453323.33, price = 1
    - approved/reserved
    - received and invoiced with qty = 7453323
2.Try to finally close the PO
3.It was unsuccessful with the following error :
  APP-PO-14160: Document action not completed successfully
  Cause: You attempted to perform a document action that is incompatible

Scenario 2
----------------
1. created PO #3056 with 2 shipments
   - trx currency = 'AUD', conversion rate = 0.00176093
   - shipment1 : qty = 7453323.33, price = 1
   - shipment2 : qty = 3.645, price = 3.01783
   - approved/reserved
   - received and invoiced with qty = 3.64
2.Try to finally close the PO
3.It was unsuccessful with the following error :
   APP-PO-14160: Document action not completed successfully
   Cause: You attempted to perform a document action that is incompatible
