Spares Management: Quick Order option gives 'Scheduling failed' error for Available to Promise (ATP) Parts Ordering (Doc ID 2536651.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.6 Spares Management

When a Part requirement is created for Available to Promise (ATP) Parts using Quick Order option an error occurs irrespective of the request date, Scheduled Ship date (SSD) and Scheduled Arrial Date (SAD). These dates were populated as sysdate.

If the requested quantity is not available in on-hand on the requested date, it gives the following error.

CSPCSP_PROCESS_ORDER_ERRORSNOM_MSG Scheduling failed: Cannot meet request date or latest acceptable date. Available Date: DD-MON-YYYY

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to EBS
2. Navigate to Spares Management Responsibility > Parts Requirement HTML
3. Create Part requirement and Enter item details save.
4. Click on Quick Order option to create Order in Order Management (OM).
5. Getting scheduling error
