Errors Upon Termination During Global Deployment (Doc ID 2539803.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

ISSUE #1 When attempting to terminate an employee in the destination business group, the following error occurs:

APP-PER-449771: This employee is seconded to this business
group. You can terminate the employee only in the source business group.

 

ISSUE #2 When initiating the return to the destination business group the following error occurs: 

The actual termination date must not be before any future changes to the person specified. (FND_ERROR_LOCATION_FIELD=) (FND_MESSAGE_TYPE=E)

 

ISSUE #3 When initiating the return to the destination business group the following error occurs:

 

The mandatory argument period_of_service_id value cannot be null
Cause: The mandatory argument period_of_service_id has either not been specified or has been explicitly set to null in the API hr_ex_employee_api.actual_termination_emp .
Action: Either specify a value for the period_of_service_id argument which is not null or contact your local support representative. (FND_ERROR_LOCATION_FIELD=) (FND_MESSAGE_TYPE=E)

 

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  XX HRMS Manager

  2.  People > Enter and Maintain
     
  3.  Click Others... > Terminate Assignment
