E-Business Suite R12 Web Applications Desktop Integrator, WebADI related issues
For any Web ADI integrator, when users click the 'Create document' button from WebADI and open or save it in excel the download window will pop up.
After the user selects 'Close' in pop up window, the download data will show.
However the behavior of download popup window has changed between the different Microsoft Excel versions.
Excel 2010: This popup window will show in current Excel sheet.
Excel 2013: This popup window will show in new Excel sheet. Users need to select the new sheet and then click Close to show the data.
The same behavior with Excel 2013 was confirmed in Excel 2016.
So behavior was changed from Excel 2013 and 2016.
Two webadi excel sheets are getting generated for one document when the create option is selected.
Only one excel sheet should be generated. The other excel sheets should get closed automatically.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to EBS. Use Webadi integrator responsibility
2. Create any document
3. two Excel sheets getting generated
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users can not perform business work with Webadi .
