Goal

Why the delegation is not considering if the same approval member is the next approver?

 

Customer observed below behavior using the delegation when using AME rules.

The case can be illustrate as follows:

1- Create an AME rule where you have approvals A, B, C
2- Submit a PR, approval A delegated the response to approval B.
3- Approval B approves
4- The transaction comes back again to him for approval.

The expected behavior that the AME engine should take into consideration if approval B is the next one in the chain to avoid duplication.

It is not logical for directors to approve transactions twice.
