Last updated on JUNE 30, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Purchasing - Version 12.2.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Document Builder generates incorrect PO amount in case of currency conversion

Following steps describe the issue:

1) Create an requisition/contractor request in iProcurement in the base currency (e.g. EUR)
   Example: 1672 hours (qty) x 93 EUR = 155,496.00 EUR

2) Choose "rate based temporary labor"

2) Use Document Builder, find the requisition, add to document builder to create a PO referring to a Contract Purchase Agreement (CPA) which has a different currency (e.g. USD).
When referring to CPA with different currency the amount is recalculated in Document Builder from:
155,496.00 EUR into 179,411.28 USD (based on the selected currency rate).

3) When creating the PO however the currency is correctly set to USD, but the amount is still the amount (of the prior EUR).
So on the PO the incorrect 155,496 USD is mentioned while this should be 179,411.28 USD.

NOTE: Issue also occurs without reference to CPA.
