Payslip and Statement of Earnings (SOE) Does Not Show Standard Hours Worked (Doc ID 2544134.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle HRMS (US) - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The online payslip, SOE and other reports are not showing the number of standard work hours entered on the assignment form.  Instead, payroll is calculating and displaying the number of actual hours worked in a pay period.

Example:

Assignment record shows standard working hours to be 173.33 hours per month.  When monthly payroll is run, the SOE and other reports show hours as 182 (or other, depending on number of working days in the month).  The user expects to see 173.33 each month.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run payroll processes
2. Review payslip, SOE or reports and see wrong number of hours
