Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.5 version, Asset Management

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
No Taxes on Anticipated Billing on future dated quotes

Problem description
----------------------------
When future dating a termination quote beyond the billing lead days, Oracle will create an Anticipated Billing amount, but it does not include an estimated tax amount on this line.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-------------------------------
Taxes should be calculated on Anticipated Billing on future dated quotes

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Lease, Home, Asset Management

2. Create Termination Quote

Enter contract number, Quote Type: Termination with Purchase, Quote Reason: Other

Effective From date: select a date that is in the future, within 30 days from today, but beyond the next payment due date for a contract that has not yet had the next payment due date billed due to print lead days.

For example, today is April 10. Print lead days are set to 10 days. Create quote with Effective From date of April 30.

Anticipated Billing amount will appear on quote below the quote lines and above the Total Quote amount.

There is no Tax amount associated with this Anticipated Billing, only a rent or payment amount. The Tax amount also needs to be estimated and included.
