Last updated on DECEMBER 05, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Service Contracts - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Subscription Agreements are not prorating the price based on Effectivity dates.

The profile option 'OKS: Intangible Subscription Pricing Method' is set to 'Effectivity Based' at Site level for intangible items but the behavior of the contract pricing is not reflecting that.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The Contract line price should be prorated based on effectivity.

STEPS
-----------------------
(R) Service Contracts Manager
Create a Subscription Agreement Contract

Example:
- Add a subscription line for 34 days of effectivity.
- Subscription template selected is on 'Month' frequency
- As per Price List, the item price is $160

If the price is $160 for 30 days, the remaining 4 days amount should be calculated and added to the line price.
However, it remains as $160.
