Symptoms

On : 12.2.8 version, Project Definition

When attempting to Add planning tasks the following error occurs.


ERROR
-----------------------
ORA-12899: value too large for column "PA"."PA_TASKS"."DESCRIPTION" (actual: 402, maximum: 250) in Package PA_PROJECT_PVT Procedure add_task_round_one


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Navigate to Projects Super User responsibility > Projects: Delivery > Search Project> fill criteria to find the problematic project > go to Financial > Add planning tasks.

2. See the error displayed.
