Last updated on DECEMBER 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Warehouse Management - Version 12.1.3 to 12.1.3 [Release 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Actual Behavior
WLC.QUANTITY and WLC.SECONDARY_QUANTITY are wrongly calculated.

Expected Behavior
WLC.QUANTITY and WLC.SECONDARY_QUANTITY should be correctly calculated.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Item:
    Primary UOM : EA(Each)
    Secondary UOM : REL(Real)
    1 Real = 5 Each

  2. LPN Pack 10 REL
    WMS_LPN_CONTENTS
    QUANTITY UOM_CODE SECONDARY_QUANTITY SECONDARY_UOM_CODE PRIMARY_QUANTITY
    10 REL 10 REL 50

    MTL_ONHAND_QUANTITIES_DETAIL
    TRANSACTION_QUANTITY TRANSACTION_UOM_CODE SECONDARY_TRANSACTION_QUANTITY SECONDARY_UOM_CODE PRIMARY_TRANSACTION_QUANTITY
    10 REL 10 REL 50

  3. LPN Pack 5 EA
Because TRANSACTION_UOM_CODE is different, two records exist in WLC and MOQD.

    WMS_LPN_CONTENTS
    QUANTITY UOM_CODE SECONDARY_QUANTITY SECONDARY_UOM_CODE PRIMARY_QUANTITY
    10 REL 10 REL 50
    5 EA 1 REL 5

    MTL_ONHAND_QUANTITIES_DETAIL
    TRANSACTION_QUANTITY TRANSACTION_UOM_CODE SECONDARY_TRANSACTION_QUANTITY SECONDARY_UOM_CODE PRIMARY_TRANSACTION_QUANTITY
    10 REL 10 REL 50
    5 EA 1 REL 5

  4. LPN Unpack 10 EA
    WMS_LPN_CONTENTS
    QUANTITY UOM_CODE SECONDARY_QUANTITY SECONDARY_UOM_CODE PRIMARY_QUANTITY
    8 REL 8 REL 45

    MTL_ONHAND_QUANTITIES_DETAIL
    TRANSACTION_QUANTITY TRANSACTION_UOM_CODE SECONDARY_TRANSACTION_QUANTITY SECONDARY_UOM_CODE PRIMARY_TRANSACTION_QUANTITY
    8 REL 8 REL 40
    5 EA 1 REL 5
In MOQD, 10 EA (2 REL) is decreased from the quantity of the 1st line because the quantity of the 2nd line is not enough.
But, it is very clear that WLC.QUANTITY and WLC.SECONDARY_QUANTITY were updated by the quantity of the 1st line in MOQD, not the sum of the quantities of both 2 lines in MOQD.
    WLC.PRIMARY_QUANTITY is correctly updated.
