UK: Statutory Absence Rates in April (Start of Fiscal Year) (Doc ID 2548502.1)

Goal

If one week of statutory absence is caught between old rate and new rate, should the full week be at old rate?

Example:

1. Create an employee with effective date from 01.07.2018
2. Run Quick Pay and Prepayments until March 2019
3. Add Maternity with below values:
      Due Date: 01.05.2019
      MPP Start Date: 15.02.2019
4. Add absence with below values:
      Notified: 23.12.2018
      Actual Start: 15.02.2019

5. Check Statutory Payments

The full week starting on 05.04.2019 has the old rate 145.18
The full week starting on 12.04.2019 has the new rate 146.68
