(Doc ID 2550869.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 02, 2021
Applies to:
Oracle Payables - Version 12.1.3 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On : 12.1.3 version, Bank Statement Load and Import
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
The payment accounting: Payment is reconciled against the bank statement, if we run create accounting on the payment side it will create a batch with two GL Journals, on in the Payment currency, and one in the Functional currency - GBP in our example, the bank account currency - USD in our example.
Changes:
Changing the bank account setup to allow bank exchange rate to be loaded into our system.
Business case:
Indeed the Rounding line of 100 is the issue. The expectation was that these 2 lines would not exist.
Example : USD Journal is 1100 USD, which is the same with 1100 the GBP payment, but that was actually worth 1200 in USD,
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect the Accounting for the GRP Currency to be correctly accounted.
Example : It is expecting the USD Journal to have 1200 on the Cash account, and balance it accordingly with the same value, because on the GBP Journal the Cash clearing line is correct 1100 GBP and 1200 USD.
