Searching Asset Numbers Using "Asset Number Search" Page Requires Many "Clicks" To Obtain Results (Doc ID 2550984.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Asset Number Page Returns Results after may clicks

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Asset Number Page to work the first time

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility = Maintenance Super User
2. Self-Service Page opens up as below and displays the “Home” tab, choose the Org: as shown below
3. Go to “Assets” tab
  Click Capital
  Enter valid Asset Number and Asset Category for “Simple Search”
  Enter Asset Number -
  Asset Category
  Asset Route: No (Default Value)
4. Click Go - No Results
  (no items found)
5. Click Go – Multiple times
6 Click Go - No Results
  (no items found)
7. Click “Capital” multiple times
  Go to “Work Requests” tab
  Go back to “Assets” tab
  Click “Capital”
  Click Go
8. Asset Number is displayed -> after multiple clicks which is causing frustration among user community.
