How to use the STATUS and END_DATE_ACTIVE columns from JTF_RS_SALESREPS for Custom Reporting? (Doc ID 2551843.1)

Goal

On : 11.5.10.2 version,

jtf_rs_salesreps has inconsistent data between status and end_date fields, and this data is being used for custom reporting.

We noticed that we have some data in jtf_rs_salesreps that does not make sense.

There are records having a STATUS of A, but the END_DATE_ACTIVE column is populated. I would think if the resource is no longer an employee the status field would be I for inactive.
There are records having a STATUS of I where END_DATE_ACTIVE column is populated, which makes sense.

Why do some have the status as 'A' with an end-date, but others have a status of 'I' with an end-date?
