Discrete Jobs Form Does Not Move The Start Date To Working Days On Client Timezone (Doc ID 2556688.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Work in Process - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Actual Behavior
Start Date is not moved to working days even though WIP: Align Job Dates with Shift Calendar is set to Yes.

For example, user set 2019/05/03 07:00:00 to Completion Date and then Discrete Jobs form suggests  2019/04/27 05:57:00 as Start Date. 04/27 is non-working day(Saturday).
This issue happens only when there is some time difference between server and client.

Profile Option:  Server Timezone = (GMT -05:00) Central Time

Profile Option:  Client Timezone = (GMT +02:00) CET

Expected Behavior
Start Date is moved to working days if WIP: Align Job Dates with Shift Calendar is set to Yes.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. WIP: Align Job Dates with Shift Calendar is set to Yes
  2. Navigate to Discrete Jobs form
  3. Set Completion Date and save it
