High CPU Load On A Process "-bash" (Doc ID 2557378.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
Have a high CPU load on EBS application node due to unknown process:

 PID      USER PR NI VIRT    RES   SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+      COMMAND
434990 oracle 20 0 179608 22888 0    S 1063   0.0      17647:48 -bash


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
The process '-bash' should not consume high CPU.

The issue can be seen at will with the following steps:
1. Log into E-Business Suite a the OS owner of the application from the backend using a putty session.
2. Type the TOP command:


3. The above process '-bash' is seen consuming very high CPU.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users facing performance issue during login
