Symptoms

When attempting to approve a Purchase Order this error occurs

Error: Line # N Schedule # N FREIGHT carrier(value = method name) specified is inactive or invalid


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create PO
2. Click Approve
3. Error occurs
