On : 12.2.4 version, Legal Entities

Unable to open TABs in Legal Entity Manager responsibility

 update the contact information for the Legal Entity that was defined and in use. After opening the Legal entity, the following error message is received

You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact the System Administrator for assistance
Exception Details.
oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: java.lang.NullPointerException


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1) Open responsibility "Legal Entity Manager"
2) From the names listed under "Legal Entities" click on any one of them.
3) Click on TAB "Contact Information" or any TAB. By default "General TAB" opens. Click on any TAB.
4) Receive the error
You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact the System Administrator for assistance
