Empty Batch Load Order Shipments With Zero Weight/volume Showing Loaded Distance Value (Doc ID 2565932.1)

Last updated on MAY 06, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management - Version 6.4.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After the OTM Upgrade 6.4.3, when having a shipment with both the weight and the volume zero, the Loaded Distance is calculated, although it should be 0.
At the shipment stop level, the distance type is also 'Deadhead'. If both the weight and the volume are zero on an order release then it is considered a Deadhead move i.e loaded distance on the shipment should be zero.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Access the application
2. Select the order and plan it

The Loaded Distance is calculated.
