Partial Retirement of Assets with Zero Cost is Processed as Full Retirement (Doc ID 256992.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.


After performing a partial unit retirement for an asset with cost = $0, the asset trace show the retirement as FULL RETIREMENT.

Subsequent asset activity thus shows:

APP-OFA-47333: You cannot perform this transaction because the asset is fully retired. Choose a book in which you have not yet retired the asset, or reinstate the asset, and then perform the transaction. If you wish to cancel or undo the retirement, please query it first.


1.  Asset with Cost of $0 and 100 units

2.  Attempt to retire 2 units

3.  Subsequent transactions show the APP-OFA-47333 error and asset trace find the performed retirement as FULL RETIREMENT
