R12: PRC: Create Accounting Gives 'The LEGAL ENTITY segment value for the account combination XXX specified in line 1 is not assigned to the ledger..' (Doc ID 2570137.1)

Symptoms

PRC: Create Accounting errors with the following:

95311 The LEGAL ENTITY segment value for the account code combination &CCID specified in line 1 is not assigned to the ledger LEDGER 1. Please update the LEGAL ENTITY segment value assignments for the ledger in the Accounting Configuration page or use another LEGAL ENTITY segment value.

User runs the generic datafix (GDF) patch from 'R12 : Generic Data Fix Patch For Accounting in Oracle Projects Costing - 2251350.1':

In particular:

Scenario : 5

Transactions have failed to get final accounted as they are charged to a different Operating Unit.

Which the steps below indicate the following step s applicable in our case:

- Applicable to Scenario (5), (6), (7), (8), (9), (10) and (11) mentioned above

Run the reporting script r12571659.sql

This reporting script asks for the input org_id so that the customer can check the problematic data for one OU. If this input is not given then it will display the data for all the OU's.

This reporting script will list down all the problematic transactions which falls in all the scenarios listed above. Please check the lst files
o12571659b_1.lst,
o12571659b_2.lst,
o12571659b_3.lst,
o12571659b_4.lst,
o12571659b_5.lst,
o12571659b_6.lst and
o12571659b_7.lst which gets generated after running the reporting script.

The reporting script finds the problem items but when Step F is executed, it gives:
