Symptoms

Attempting to launch the Account Hierarchy Manager (AHM) in General Ledger (GL) results in:

 

ERROR:


The Application is unable to establish a connection with the TCF SocketServer Running at <TCF: HOST>. Please contact your system administrator

java.lang.NullPointerException
at oracle.apps.gl.jahe.javaui.coatree.COADataModel.getItemCount(Unknown Source)
at oracle.bali.ewt.dTree.DTreeDeferringRoot.getItemCount(DTreeDeferringRoot.java:369)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

The issue can be reproduced at will for any user having tens of active responsibilities assigned:

Access General Ledger Super user responsibility > Setup > Accounts > Manager
