Symptoms
There is "*.xdmz" file that holds data model with accented characters such as é and ê.
Using BI Publisher's "Upload" functionality, upload operation was executed on the target BI Publisher server. However it failed with the error below.
- Browser: Upload Failed
Invalid object definition: java.io.UTFDataFormatException: Invalid UTF-8 encoding.
- bipublisher.log: javax.servlet.ServletException: Invalid object definition: java.io.UTFDataFormatException: Invalid UTF-8 encoding.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will on certain BI Publisher server. (Some BI Publisher servers do not have the issue.)
1. Attempt to upload data model archive.
2. It fails with the error below.
