Error when changing assignment status to Terminate Process Assignment

When attempting to set an assignment to terminate process assignment, the following error ocurrs

 

Steps to reproduce the issue

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Using UK HRMS Manager Responsibility
2. Change the assignment status
3. Get error HR_GB_78222_INVALID_CPE_TERM or

This assignment cannot be terminated as a future assignment exists which may affect the recorded periods of service. Either delete the future assignment or terminate this assignment on the start date of the future one.
