Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Currently Item once assigned to Child Organization through Items form in Inventory OR through Item Overview page in Product Hub, cannot be de-selected Or unassigned once item is saved.
Only way was to delete item from that Organization using delete group functionality.
12.2.9 onwards user will be allowed to unassign Item from related organization through Organization assignment screen itself.
For versions lower than 12.2.9, please refer <Note 445026.1> and <Note 1347893.1> for suggested workaround.
