No Data Found When Using The Serial Number As Search Criteria In The Find Service Requests Form (Doc ID 2582679.1)

On : 12.1.3 version, Service Request Form

Sometimes when a user searches with serial number in the Service Request form it is getting the following error

No Data found using these search criteria

The error only occurs if the user is copy and paste the serial value. If the same serial number is entered manually the search works.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Applications
2. Go to Service responsibility
3. Navigate to Find Service Requests form
4. Paste the serial number which is copied from external source
5. Click Search
