Install Base Locations Not Updated After Account Site Merge (Doc ID 2582687.1)

On : 12.1.3 version, Support Codes

Account merge performed for accounts and sites with delete after merge. But still the Install and Current locations of instance are still showing old sites.

1) Why aren’t the LOCATION (Current/Installation) fields updated on the install base by the standard Oracle Merge program?

2) Why, since the Ship-to site has been purged/merged does the data still appear in the Search list of the Location fields?

3) How to get this fixed?
