Last updated on SEPTEMBER 06, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Enterprise Asset Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The last_update_date in eam_pm_schedulings shows 12:00:00 AM for all records when multiple updates.

Expected behavior is that the time-stamp is correct.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.) Open Enterprise Asset Management responsibility and select organization
2.) Open the Preventive Maintenance menu, then the SCHEDULE DEFINITION function
3.) Click FIND to return ALL default PM Schedules for the org, then click OPEN to open the first PM Schedule
4.) Change the SET NAME on the pm schedule to something different, then DO NOT click save.
5.) Click on the PM SCHEDULE NAME, then click DOWN ARROW to go to next PM Schedule. Change the SET NAME on the 2nd PM Schedule
6.) Repeat step 5 several more times so that several PM Schedules have their SET NAME changed
7.) Click SAVE so that all PM SCHEDULE set name changes are commited at the same time
8.) Query the EAM_PM_SCHEDULINGS table for the PM's that were updated. You will notice that the last_update_date is 12:00:00 instead of the actual time the record was updated.
