On Creating Absence Getting Error 'oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: Could not create Java class:<some custom class> associated with region: (PageLayoutRN). This is probably because the class name is wrong or not included in project. (Doc ID 2589203.1)

Symptoms

 

When attempting to create an absence the following error occurs.

oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: Could not create Java class: (xxAbsSuppDocCOExt.oracle.apps.per.selfservice.absence.webui.XXAbsenceCreateCOExt02) associated with region: (PageLayoutRN). This is probably because the class name is wrong or not included in project.

at oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.OAWebBeanHelper.processRequest(OAWebBeanHelper.java:613)


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to "Employee Self Service" Responsibility.

2. Navigate to function "Absence Management".

3. Key in an Absence and submit

4. Error
