Symptoms

Unable to build Payments

Build Program failed with error "ORA-01426: numeric overflow"

A FND Debug Log of the execution of the Funds Disbursement Build Program shows the following:

Error Message:BUILD PROGRAM ERROR - CANNOT CREATE PAYMENTS
Request completed in error.
Done roll back changes.
An error occurred. Roll back any changes.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Log into Oracle Applications using a Payments responsibility.
  2. Go to Payment manager
    (N) Payment Manager > Home
  3. Submit a new Payment Process Request (PPR)
  4. Open the Requests
    (N) View > Requests
  5. Review the Build Payments (IBYBUILD) concurrent request fired for the PPR submitted.
    See the program failed and the log has the error described.
