Mobile Field Service Wireless Does Not Show Home Page/task List When Tech Has Only One Assigned Task

Mobile Field Service (MFS) Wireless does not show home page/task list when technician has only one assigned task
Behavior in 12.1.3
When a technician has any number of tasks and logs into MFS Wireless they are shown a list of the tasks along with a "Logout" button at the top. When one of the tasks is clicked/tapped the task details are shown with a "Home" button at the top. When the "Home" button is clicked/tapped the task list shows up. Again, this happens with any number of tasks.
Behavior in 12.2.8
When a technician has zero, two, or more tasks and logs into MFS Wireless see the same behavior as above.
But when a technician has one task the 'home' page with the list of tasks does not show up. It immediately shows the details page for the single task assigned to the tech. Again, there is a "Home" button up top but clicking/tapping that button just re-shows the details page. So cannot see a way to get to the actual 'home' page and thus never see a "Logout" button.
Expect that when a technician has one task the 'home' page with the list of tasks should show up and there should be able to see Logout button
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Mobile Field Service Wireless with Technician having one assigned task
2. Observe the task details are shown .'Home' page with the list of tasks does not show up
3. Click on Home Button just re-shows the details page. I
