Lease Contract Open Interface Allows Asset Description Values That Are Rejected by Fixed Assets (Doc ID 2597096.1)

Symptoms

When attempting book an imported contract with an Asset Description of more than 80 characters (bytes),
the following error occurs when attempting to Book the contract:

ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small in Package OKL_ACTIVATE_ASSET_PVT Procedure FIXED_ASSET_ADD


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Import a contract in a New Status with a string longer than 80 characters (bytes) in OKL_LINES_INTERFACE.DESCRIPTION.
2. Attempt to Book the imported contract.

or

1. Import the same contract in a Booked status and the contract will be stuck in an Approved status with no sign of any errors until Submit is clicked again to attempt Booking.
