Error FRM-40735 While Creating Manual AR Transaction For Specific Customer (Doc ID 2597786.1)

Symptoms

 When attempting to select the Ship-To customer which has long address in Transactions form, receive the following error:

 ORA-01403: no data found
--------------------------------------------------------------
FRM-40735: WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-06502.

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Register Customer Account with long address. (Address 3 has long value)
  2. Open Transactions window.
  3. Select the customer as Ship-To customer.
  4. Error arise.

Bill-To customer case is reported in <Note.1547507.1>  and is fixed through Patch 14776895.
Even though Patch 14776895 has been applied, the error arose when trying to select the Ship-To customer.
