Last updated on NOVEMBER 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Warehouse Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Oracle Inventory Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On 12.1.3 :

Available to Reserve information from the material workbench form is not reflecting correct information after sales order has been pick released, sales order pick transaction has been allocated but not transacted.

If a sales order has been pick released and sales order pick related transaction has been allocated and not transacted, the available to reserve should have adjusted quantity information
and not show full quantity information as though there is existing quantity to be available to be transacted.

In the images below and/or the attached document, user details / company name / address / email / telephone number represent a fictitious sample (based upon made up data used in the Oracle Demo Vision instance). Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.

    1. Consider a Material Status Say OH - with (Nettable Checked, Lot and Onhand Enabled, All transactions Allowed).
    2. Organization is WMS and OPM enabled.
    3. Consider an Item with below properties say - LOT_OPM_LPN
      Lot Status Enabled - Checked
      Default Lot Status - OH
      Lot Control - Full Control
      Dual UOM Control

    4. Receive Onhand as follows
      Item - LOT_OPM_LPN6
Organization - PR3 (OPM and WMS enabled)
      LPN - LPN1
      LOCATOR - PR3.1.1
      Primary Quantity - 240
      Secondary Quantity - 20
      Lot - L1
      Lot Quantity - 240

    5. Onhand in Material Workbench is correct at this stage (Inventory -> On-hand Availability -> On-hand Quantity)
      Onhand - 240
      Available To Reserve - 240
      Available To Transact - 240

    6. Create a Sales order with above item for 240 quantity.
Pick Release the sales order and just do Allocations.
Make sure allocations and reservations got created successfully.

    7. Again check Onhand in Material Workbench
      Onhand - 240
      Available To Reserve - 240
      Available To Transact - 240

Expect that Onhand should be 240 but Available To Reserve and Available To Transact should be 0 (ZERO).
    8. Check the Reservation for this Sales Order (Inventory -> On-hand Availability -> Reservation)

                    Available is 480

Issue started after application of WMS RUP 17. Prior to application of WMS RUP 17 level code, was on WMS RUP 16 level code and did not experience this issue.
