Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
The transaction_date on the Install Base Transaction (csi_transactions) is being set to:

Sales Order Pick transaction – The date/time that the install base transaction is created.
Sales Order Ship transaction – The date/time the ‘Issue from Stores’ material transaction was created.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
If the install base transaction date of a “Ship” is set to the date-time the shipment was performed,
the install base transaction date of a “Pick” should be set to the date-time the pick was performed, Not the date-time of the transaction was interfaced into Install Base.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a sales order line
2. Perform Sales Order Pick and Sales Order Pick Ship transactions.
3. Check the related 2 rows in csi_transactions_interface table.
  Example:

  interface_id     order_type               creation_date              last_update_date       mtl_transaction_id
  ------------ ---------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------- ------------------------
      103     SALES ORDER PICK    23/09/2019 11:41:46    23/09/2019 11:41:46     164573465
      104     SALES ORDER ISSUE  23/09/2019 11:41:47    23/09/2019 11:41:47     164573472

  Material Transactions created :

 transaction_id       trx_date                          trx_type         trx_action             trx_qty          subinv      transfer_subinv     trx_src_type  order_num
  -------------- ---------------------------  ------------------  -------------------- ----------------- ------------  ------------------ --------------- --------------
  164573464   09/23/2019 11:41:46    Sales Order Pick     Staging transfer       -1              W/J-010      STAGE               Sales order       556196
  164573465   09/23/2019 11:41:46    Sales Order Pick     Staging transfer        1              STAGE         W/J-010            Sales order       556196
164573472   09/23/2019 11:41:16    Sales order issue    Issue from stores    -1              STAGE                                 Sales order       556196

4. Ran request "Interface Install base Lines".

This created two records in csi_transactions :

  transaction_id       creation_date            transaction_date              source_transaction_type                  transaction_subtype
  -------------- -------------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------------------------- ------------------------------------
  34107743      23/09/2019 11:45:48    23/09/2019 11:45:48      Sales Order Pick                          Staging transfer on a Sales order
  34107744      23/09/2019 11:45:48    23/09/2019 11:41:16      Order Management - Ship/Fulfill    Ship Confirm external Sales Order

5. As you can see above, the transaction_date on the Install Base Transaction (csi_transactions) is being set to:
Pick transaction – The date/time that the install base transaction is created.
Ship transaction – The date/time the ‘Issue from Stores’ material transaction was created.
