INV_INVALID_AVAILABLE_QTY Error When Increasing QTY Reserved (Doc ID 2603941.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement
When attempting to increasing "Qty Reserved" in Order Line
the following error occurs.

Error
INV_INVALID_AVAILABLE_QTY
Supply/Demand document does not have enough quantity to be reserved against.

Steps to Reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. <PreSetup>

    Item:A
    Onhand(Available to Reserve): Subinv:A 10 Subinv:B 30

    <Steps to Reproduce)

  2. SO:X Line:1.1 Qty:15 Qty Reserved:null Subinventory:A

  3. Tools - Scheduling - Reserve and Book

  4. SO:X Line:1.1 Qty:15 Qty Reserved:10 Subinventory:A

  5. Change Subinventory A to B and Save

  6. Check Availability and Available in Subinv:B

  7. Change Qty Reserved:10 to 15 and Save, then following error occurs
    INV_INVALID_AVAILABLE_QTY
    Supply/Demand document does not have enough quantity to be reserved against.
