Symptoms
On : 12.2.5 version, Purchase Order
Actual:
Upon saving - tax calculation is attempted and results in error.
Expected:
Tax should calculate and there should not be an error.
Error:
ERROR: Your updates were saved, but tax recalculation failed. Please contact your tax manager.
"The Purchase Order has been updated. Please requery the document to see the changes"
Replication Steps:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) open Purchase Order Form
2) Enter PO Lines, Shipment and distribution Details. recovery rate as Null
3) Actions -> manage Tax
4) Click on Additional Tax Information
5) Enter tax classification Code TAX_CLASS_CODE
6) Click Apply
7) No tax is calculated - errors above are noted
Other:Upgraded instance - supplier data was migrated from 11.5.10 to 12.2. (possibly relevant)
FND Logging shows:
Number of partner calls :0
Time taken by partner(secs) :0
