Symptoms
See <Note 259972.1> for an explanation on how to upgrade to the latest version of the material workbench form where the ability to search across organizations is available. The Material Workbench form should show on-hand quantities for all orgs if no organization is selected. In earlier versions of the form, the organization was a required field. You could not run a query across all orgs.
IMPORTANT:
If you are on INV.I or higher, do not use the old onhand quantity form. No new features or fixes will be added to INV.I or above for this form. This was documented by Oracle Development in <Bug 4568688>. The core features and many more were already added to the material workbench (new onhand quantity form), so you are much better off using the material workbench.
