'Auto Release Of Planning Suggestion' Concurrent Request Program Ends In An Error if a Batch Step Was Completed After Collections Was Run (Doc ID 2613789.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 22, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Process Manufacturing Process Planning - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, APS Feedback

Run Collections with a Pending batch with three pending steps. Later, release the batch and complete one of the steps, and then try to publish the PS suggestions to update the batch, without re-collecting data after completing the batch step. The Auto Release of Planning Suggestions fails with an error:

ERROR
-----------------------
Number of steps in planned batch does not match with routing. Details of the batch will NOT be synchronized.

They are able to publish PS suggestions after other types of changes to the batch, such as releasing the batch and releasing a step. Since it works even
if a step has been Released, the customer believes it should work after a step has been Completed as well; it should update the steps that are still
Pending and not error out.
