In OPM Quality Sample Results, Want Optional Tests Completely Ignored if No Values Entered for Them (Doc ID 2616550.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 02, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Process Manufacturing Product Development - Version 12.2.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Quality Manager > Setup > Process Quality Parameters > Sample tab, we have marked “Consider Optional Tests Results”.

Then, we are entering test results against a sample. Some tests are defined as optional in the sample. When we do not enter the quality results for optional tests, system change the disposition to “In Progress”.

Expected behavior:
We want that when we enter the test results for optional tests, only then the system should consider the tests results. In case, the test results are not entered for optional tests, the system should not consider these tests for evaluating disposition. But when we enter the results, system should consider the optional test for evaluating disposition.

We want that optional tests are only considered by the system for changing disposition to "Complete" or "In Progress" when we enter the test results for optional tests. If we don't enter the test results, then the system should ignore these tests.

Our requirement is that we don't want to enter the optional quality tests results for every sample. but when we do enter the results for the sample, then the system should consider these results at the time of changing disposition to complete or either In Progress.
