Symptoms

When attempting to update Iqama details using hr_person_extra_info_api.update_person_extra_info the following error occurs

Even though date format input is correct 

Error Message

ORA-20001: Hijrah Date should be of format 'YYYY/MM/DD'

 

 STEPS

-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login into SQL PLUS using APPS user

2. Execute the API hr_person_extra_info_api.update_person_extra_info to update Iqama Details

3. Getting error as shown above
