R12: AP: Create Accounting Program Ends With Error Code "ORA-01426: numeric overflow" (Doc ID 2617803.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run the concurrent program name 'Create Accounting' (short name: XLAACCPB) for Process Category: Payments, the program ends with error and the following error occurs in the log of child concurrent name 'Accounting Program' (short name: XLAACCUP):

ERROR

An internal error occurred.  Please inform your system administrator or support representative that:

An internal error has occurred in the program xla_ae_lines_pkg.BusinessFlowPriorEntries.  ORA-01426: numeric overflow.

 

 

 


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Run the concurrent program name 'Create Accounting' (short name: XLAACCPB) for Process Category: Payments.
2. Review the log from child concurrent name 'Accounting Program' (short name: XLAACCUP).


Changes

New secondary/ALC ledger(s) added to primary ledger.
