Deactivating A Route Listing With Calendar Tool Needs Does Not Work The First Time (Doc ID 2618300.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 09, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Enterprise Asset Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When deactivating a specific asset from a parent route, we use the calendar tool to select todays date as the end date. In this form, once we select the date, it immediately clears out and does not save the date. The 2nd attempt always works. We recreated the issue in the attached video since it was difficult to see the issue via screenshots.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Deactivating a route listing with calendar tool should work the first time.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Enterprise Asset Management.
2. Navigation: Assets -> Asset Routes.
3. Query asset number.
4. Click on Asset Route.
5. Select Asset Number.
6. Select Effective Date To xx-xx-xxxx but it did not reflect. The date clears out and never saves.
7. Select LOV on Effective Date To again and now the date gets populated.
