Symptoms

 
Work Order-less Completion (WOLC) transactions fail with the following error:

CST_INVALID_WIP - The Wip Entity Is Either Not Defined Or Does Not Have A Period Balance Entry


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.  Responsibility: Work In Process (WIP)
2.  Navigation: Material Transactions-> Work Orderless Completions



 

 

 

Changes

 DB upgrade or Patching.
