Symptoms

Workflow Background Process program is running long, waiting on Mass Allocation process to complete, where there is a great number of formulas included (over 100).

It has been observed that it is waiting for this SQL: 

This program will have Running status until the whole allocation process is complete.


STEPS:

The sequence of steps is:

1. Parent Program - AutoAllocation Launcher

2. Child programs: Recurring Journal Entry > Posting > Run Mass Allocations with great number of formulas

The parent program will wait for the child requests to complete, the Workflow Background Process will wait for the parent program to complete while workflows are sent in the system from it continuously.

Changes

 New Mass Allocation batch designed, with a great number of formulas (eg. 400).
