Manual Autocreate Creation Method Does Not Validate Profile 'PO: Release Creation Tolerance For Expired Blankets' When New Releases Are Created (Doc ID 2627075.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 14, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Purchasing - Version 12.2.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When trying to autocreate from a purchase requisition (PR) a blanket release using Manual creation method, blanket purchase agreement (BPA) number cannot be found in Document Number list of values (LOV).
BPA is expired, but profile PO: Release Creation Tolerance For Expired Blankets is set at user level with correct value.

Expectation is that is  If profile PO: Release Creation Tolerance For Expired Blankets is set system should use this profile to validate if BPA is expired or not.

Steps to reproduce

1. BPA is Approved having START_DATE=09.15.2016 00:00:00; END_DATE=08.14.2019 23:59:59
2. Set profile PO: Release Creation Tolerance For Expired Blankets at user level to value 180
3. Go to Autocreate > query for PR > select the line > set Document Type = Blanket Release > Press on Manual button > in Document Number LOV, BPA created in point 1 cannot be found
